👨👩👧 For Parents — Remove Your Own Review
If you wish to remove a review you submitted, you have two options:
- Dashboard: Log in → Dashboard → My Ratings → Request Removal
- Email: Email grievance@parentsvoice.in with your registered email address and the school name.
We process parent removal requests within 48-72 hours.
🏫 For Schools — Disputing Content
⚠️ Important: ParentsVoice will NOT remove a review solely because the school disagrees with a parent's opinion. Honest opinions, even if critical, are protected expression under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution.
We WILL act on complaints where content:
- Contains a demonstrably false statement of fact (not opinion)
- Identifies and harms specific individual staff members or students personally
- Violates our Prohibited Content policy (obscenity, hate speech, etc.)
- Is supported by a valid Indian court order directing removal

⚖️ Court Orders & Legal Notices
ParentsVoice fully respects and complies with the Indian legal system.
We will comply with:
- Valid orders from competent Indian courts directing removal of specific content
- Lawful government requests under applicable Indian law
- Takedown orders under Section 69A of the IT Act 2000
We will NOT comply with:
- Informal "legal notices" from advocates that are not court orders
- Demands to remove content based on threats or reputational pressure alone
- Demands to reveal user identity without a valid court order
- Requests from foreign entities without jurisdiction under Indian law
To submit a court order: Email legal@parentsvoice.in with a certified copy. We will respond and comply within the court-specified timeline.
🚨 Warning: Sending false or frivolous takedown notices, or attempting to intimidate ParentsVoice or its users, may itself constitute an offence under the IT Act and IPC. All legal communications received are logged with full forensic detail.
